Dual Display Dilemma

I'm running Windows Vista 64 bit with a Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 in a dual screen setup. My primary monitor is an Acer 21.5" 1920x1080 widescreen display and my second monitor is a simple 19" LCD (1280x1024 native). I want to keep the widescreen as my primary display, but I want certain applications to run on my second monitor.

Specifically, I want Warcraft III to launch on the 19" monitor because it does not support wide screen formats and when it resizes my primary display it "pushes" everything off the 19". Additionally, I would like to be able to run WC3 and WoW at the same time (the computer is more than capable of handling it), but if I start WC3 while WoW is running, the resizing messes up the WoW window. So even alt-tabbing back and forth is not an option.

I've tried putting Warcraft into windowed mode and moving it to the 2nd monitor, but it always starts back on the primary monitor, even when I leave it in windowed mode. I remember on my older computer with an nVidia card there was a manager that I could specifically set applications to launch on the monitor I chose, but I cannot find it with this ATI card. Ironically, in searching the internet for a solution, someone mentioned the exact opposite (claiming there was an option in ATI but they couldn't find it in nVidia).

Any and all help on this issue would be appreciated.

Your kind of stuck just moving the window each time. Yes Nividia had/has tools for setting which creen to launch differnt programs in. Not sure if ATI has anything similar.

You might want to check out UltraMon, see if that will work for you.
