Im trying to figure out what I need to set up a dual display with one CRT and one LCD monitor so but the more i look into it and talk to ppl and read posts the more confused I get. I want to run two completely different apps on each screen not just stretch the display. I have two main questions:
1. I thought all I needed was a card with either 2 DVI connectors (and 1 digital-to-analogue thingy) OR
1 DVI and 1 VGA connector.
Is this correct?
2. The machines here are about 3 or 4 yrs old. They all have AGP slots but i dont think they're even 4X. Im assuming that I cant put an 8X card into these machines?
Clarification would be appreciated 🙂
