Dual CRT interference from being so close...

I like to have my dual CRT monitors right next to each other, but I get an annoying faint horizontal line that moves from bottom to top on one monitor and top to bottom on the other.

Is there a recommended thin (non-ugly) material that I can put between the monitors to stop the interference? Or some other way besides spacing the monitors far apart to prevent this from happening?

If they don't interfere magnetically, but just show some kind of signal interference (like yours), then setting the refresh rates further apart will cure it.

I used to have the same problem and did not wish to use a physical barrier between my monitors. I was able to fix the problem by experimenting with different refresh rates on both or one of the affected monitors. Give it a try and report back.

Good luck.

Yep. Looks like with some refresh adjustments I can cure this, but my secondary PCI card sucks too bad to give me any options at my resolution. I'll be upgrading it soon though...

Thanks again for the replies.
