Dual CPU's and Mandrake 8.0 Std.

My mandrake install doesn't see both cpu's PIII-933 on A-bit VP6!

How to install kernel so is dual thread?

Mandrake should have an RPM on the CD with a SMP kernel, otherwise you have to download the source from kernel.org and recompile a new one with SMP support in it.

The installation itself will not use both procs, but once you get everything set up and boot the system it should support SMP.

Your boot manager should show 2 selections... Linux-SMP and Linux-UP ... (SMP = multi-proc, and UP=uni-proc)
