Dual core windows patches

Hey guys, I just got my first dual core processor. Its an AMD X2 4200+. I am just wondering exactly what patches I need to get so my games run correctly and xp is stable. I want to collect them before I build tonight. Thanks
 
My 4400+ and my 4800+ systems do not have any of the "optimizers" installed and actually act "weird" with them installed...........My 3800+ though benifits from having the dual core optimizer installed............seems like a crap shoot. All these systems are nForce boards.
 
Well, I went ahead and installed the amd optimizer and its stable so far. I'll throw prime 95 on it tonight and let it crunch and try some games...but so far so good.
