Dual Core performance problems

U only need it if you run cool n quiet and you are experiencing problems. did u actually read anything in the link u just posted?
 
Well aren't most people using AMD CPU Cool 'n' Quiet? I thought like it WAS the thing to do, to take advantage of better CPU performance and technology?

Because many people are overclocking their cpu's.

Running cool and quiet will set the cpu multiplier to its default and and lower the voltage / speed of the cpu while at idle to keep keep the cpu cool.

If you're overclocked and running above stock voltage with a non-default multiplier, well, you can pretty much guess what kind of headaches cool and quiet are gonna cause ya. 😉
