Dual Core P4's vs. Dual Xeons

I'm looking for some articles/benchmarks comparing Dual Core P4's and Dual Xeon processor setups. Any general thoughts/comments on this would be apppreciated as well.

what is this for then? is this for a server? if so, the xeon is suppost to outperform the pentium D's for some reason.

Yes, this would be for a server - any idea how much and in what situations? I've been looking around for benchmarks to compare with but haven't found any yet...

It outperforms dual core because single core Xeons come with a higher default clock speed.
