It does make a good bang for the buck dual core if you overclock it, but they do still run pretty hot. My 805 is running at 3.7ghz, hitting 57c load on water cooling. Doesn't keep up with my X2 @2.618ghz, but still performs well for the price.

It's a good deal if you are not a gamer and looking for a cheap dual-core, or you'll be overclocking it to the extreme.

It's ridiculously cheap, and it's dual core. What more can you ask for? :p

Yeah, I think it will run at 3.6-3.8ghz with good air cooling, but definatly not with the stock heatsink.

Only problem is with that mobo, you won't get a good OC, and you still need a $50 HSF to get any kind of OC from that furnace.

Yeah Fryes is a real POS!!!I cant say I have bought many things of worth through there...Those cpu/mobo deals are almost never worth it cause you cant even sell the boards that you have to be smart enough to know not to use them...They are junk and so when you figure you still end up buyning another mobo and cannot get rid of that one...YOU PAID TOO MUCH!!!!!
