Dual core and games...problem resolved?

About a month or so ago, I read about AMD's dual core problems in games. Is this still an issue? If not , is there drivers or something that I should be aware of? Any and all replies are welcomed. Thanks.

I haven't had any issues in the games I play. Had some lockups in BF2 early on, but installing the various chipset driver updates and MS hotfixes put all that to bed.
 
Just as long as you install the AMD driver and the MS hotfix, you should be okay. Don't know if Civ IV works yet with my X2, but that game is buggy as hell no matter which way you look at it, so yeah...
