Dual Core AMD/Intel - Are both Core's the same temp ?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know. Are both of your core's the same temp ?

I'm using coretemp and get 40C/32C for my 1st/2nd cpu temps.

Opteron 170 cpu .. see sig for specs.

Most of the time I am getting a one to two degree differnece in core temps...

im getting like a 5 degree difference using core temp for my e6600. 34C idle core 1 and 29C idle core 2.

I only have 1 degree difference between cores on my E6400.
