"While in Taiwan, we had the rare opportunity to take a look around the Research and Development labs of ASUSTeK, well known motherboard and graphics card manufacturer. They had their latest dual chip 6800GT and 6800Ultra cards on the test beds (only two boxes full of which had passed quality control at that point,) and so grabbed some benchmarks while we were there."

interesting no doubt, but I think it really serves to show what a nice improvement the 7800GTX will actually be. Sure, it scores slightly less (so far) than this dual card, but it's smaller, cheaper (most likely), and you can still add another one.

I wonder how long they've been making these cards to create just a few boxes of them that passed QC. I hope this isn't another one of those products that reviewers get to to test and show off and make us drool, but then there's only like 2 of them for sale.
