Dual Channel RAM

I just got my MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum board and I want to install RAM in dual channel mode. I have 1 GB (2x512MB) Mushkin dual channel pair with the black RAM peices on both sides of them. Which of the 4 slots do I plug them into and what kind of setup do I need to do in the BIOS?

I have the K8N Neo2. To get dual channel, you need to put one in the green socket and one in the purple. Each color is it's own channel.

so once I plug them in, it's automatically in dual channel mode?

yes, although I thought that you plugged them into the same color (usually every other socket) to get dual channel.
