Dual-channel question, upgrading!

I currently have 4x256MB in dual channel but I'd like to upgrade to help performance in BF2 and Fear especially. I was wondering if combining 2x256MB and 2x512MB would still work in dual channel. I have a 2.4C@3.0ghz (Northwood) on ABIT IS7 (i865PE chip). What do you think? Would that combination also work with a AMD 64 Venice core? That way, I could sell 2x256MB to a friend 😉
 
Yes, it should work IMO... Check the manual for the correct slots... The Venice will make no problem of it... It has a reworked mem controller you know... 😉

Make your friend pay big bucks for it... 😛
