Dual Channel On?

Hello all:

How can you tell if your mobo is running in dual channel or not. I have four sticks of Corsair PC3200XL in an ASUS A8N-SLI and I have heard that it clocks these down to DDR333 speeds which is no problem, but does this affect dual channel operation as well?

If you have all the dimms populated it is in dual channel...It should state it initially in the post up screen.....

So it is confirmed 4 dimms revrts to 166 divider??? I have a guy I told I thought this was true and to go for 2 sticks instead of 4.....

The only effect obviously seems to be ram speed..If you oc you may be able to get the speed back up closer to stock 400ddr speeds, but I dont kow if stability is tough to attain...

Does it revert you to 2t as well or does that stay 1t???
