Dual Channel on my albatron px915p4

I just got a new albatron px915p4 for my 2.8 so i could use PCI-E ( got a 7800GT too 😀 )

BUT when i went to use my previous ram for the motherboard it wouldn't boot
this is what i have:

2x512 Geil 3200
2x256 Geil 3200

this worked in dual channel on my previous Intel D865Perl, but will NOT work on this albatron px915p4. It will only boot with the either the 2x512's or the 2x256's, they cannot be combined or i see no video at all, it just won't boot.

Is this really whats doing it? im confused

I would like to guess that the board does not like to run four banks of double sided sticks at stock speed. Try to see if you have a pair of single sided stick to run with the 1GB Geil kit and see if it would boot up.
