Dual Channel need matched ddram?

First I'm not a newbie here, I just keep screwing up passwords and UID's. Question; I just bought two kingston 400 (3200)512 memory sticks because NewEgg had them on sale. I anticipate a new 865PE Intel motherboard in a few weeks (856PERLL) and either a 2.8C or 3.0C processor. Will dual channel work with the two "identical" chips or must I spring for a matched set? A gig in a matched set cost a lot more than the two I bought.

I usually buy single sticks too - same make andmodel though.

Ive seen kingston's component factory and assembly, the memory is still all thoroughly tested. you should be fine.

It will be fine the only reason for matched ones is for the "guarentee" so they charge a premiumfor them but single's should be just fine anyways.

Thanks all - I won't have a chance to try the memory for a month or so, so if it won't operate dual channel I'll live with it. The Intel board is solid and should latch on with no problem. I'm not going to over clock anything.
