Dual Channel Memory Question

I have the ABIT "AN7" nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard and I was wondering what 2 ram slots I'm supposed to use to activate dual channel memory? Also, is there any settings I have to change to make it dual channel or is it just plug-and-play?

It will automatically enable dual channel, and usually its slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 if using 2 sticks (at least that what i remember based off asus's boards) usually the manual will tell you excactly

I'm confused by what it said in the manual. Does anyone know, that has this motherboard?

Usually you start with DIMM 3 and move towards DIMM 1 as you add more ram. However, if you are using ddr 400, u can only use slots 3 and 2 for dual chnl.
