I've notice some of memory manufactures have started selling dual memory kits for dual channel systems. These kits are quite a bit more expensive then buying the same memory as 2 single pieces.
Is it worth the extra money to buy the dual kit or is this just a way for manufactures to make more money in tough times?
Will I get better overclocks?
Will I get have lower latency?
Is it worth the money?

I personally dont think itis worth it all. Soemtimes they will perform better but by extremely small margins.

Not all dual packs are more expensive.

Mushkin Dual Pack

Right there, it's $10 cheaper to get the dual pack than to buy the parts individually.

I got that pack itself - runs without problems.

i dont think the dual channel kits are worth the extra money you pay. i regret paying big buck for my twinx set. ive had the best luck with 2 sticks i bought separately. pc3700 el golds work great. i dont think you should pay the extra for a pretested pair. test it yourself! hehe
