I have a Gigabyte 8inxp. I had previously loaded 2 sticks of Corsair DDR2100 512Mb into slots 1/3. System reported 1Gb RAM in single channel mode.
Just added 2 more sticks of matched memory into slots 2/4. Sandra reports all slots properly, so does the Gigabyte DMI tool. XP doesn't recognize it, and initial BIOS screen (not the bootup screen) only shows 1GB.
Is there any BIOS setting I need to change to have it recognize the additional memory?
I'm willing to swap out the memory for something that will work. I'm not overclocking.
Any suggestions for correcting this problem will be appreciated. Should I swap out the memory? I'm thinking of Mushkin Green DDR3200 (hardwareanalysis.com mentioned this works well on the mobo).
