Dual Channel for A64 754 and 939 worth it?

The only difference between S939 and S754 is that the S939 has Dual channel while the S754 has only single channel RAM. There is a performance gain but it is smaller than the one that Pentium 4 systems have. Just look at some bechmarks comparing A64 CPUs with the same clockspeed and the same amount of cache.

The difference between the single channel Athlon 64 2800 and dual channel Athlon 3800 is about 30%.......you pay a lot for that extra 30% !!!!!!!

Hell, you get most of that 30% just by upgrading from the 2800 to the 3400. With the 3400 dropping down to $230 or so this week, it's a bad week to be buying a dual channel(S939) A64.😛
