dual channel DDR

I think you are mixing something up. Dual Channel DDR does not have different modes AFAIK.

You are simply transmitting data with two seperate Channels.

That may be. However my post screen on an Asus P4P800SE reads

"DDR Frequency 400, Dual-Channel, Linear Mode"

My girlfriends machine which i built with an Asus P4P800-VM reads

"DDR Frequency 400, Dual-Channel, Tiled Mode"

And I know i have seen where it has stated "Paged Mode" (Atleast i think i recall that)

So, im wondering what the difference might be.
