Dual Booting

I have already installed both Win2k Server and Win2k Pro as a dual boot. I wish to remove 2kPro from C: and replace it with WinME. I think that this will kill the boot.ini file that allows me to select the 2kPro OS. How can this be done so that I can still boot into 2kPro?

You are saying that you want to remove win2k pro and still boot into it?????? I am a little unclear. Also, why in the world do you want to run ME???? I have used it on friends comps and it sucks to pieces. Sorry. But keep 2k pro and get xp or something, but not me. I will try to find some info for you and I will let you know.

Sorry...I meant that I wished to replace Win2k Server (from C🙂 with WinME and keep 2kPro on D: I still cannot get many games to run with stability under Win2kPro.

I have a win2k pro on my c and decided to install ME on d for the same gaming reasons.
Once I installed ME on d I was not able to boot to c where my win2k pro was, so I ran the recovery console and restored the boot files.
That worked. You may also have to add a line of code to the boot.ini file

there's a way but you have to edit all these system file and registry. It's easy if you have ME/98 then install win2k. Winme/98 always want to be the only operating system
