I'm not too sure, but if you install XP first and then Vista I believe it'll automatically setup a dual boot (earlier version of windows option 1 and windows vista option 2). I think I did my setup the longer way. What I did was install Vista on my first drive (two seagate 320gb in raid-0) and then installed Windows XP on my secondary drive (Maxtor 200gb). I then had to boot from the vista dvd - repair - startup repair, afterwards reboot into Vista and used a program called EasyBCD to setup the dual booting.
