Dual Booting Win2k and WinME (ignore)

I have Win2k on my C: drive right now. and all my partitions are FAT. I have read about how to dual boot win2k and win98 and it says win98 should be installed first. i really don't want to reinstall everything. Can i just install winME on another partition and will everything work fine?

It should as long as you don't convert the Win2K into NTFS.

Not likely... WinME likes to boot from the c:\ drive. If you use a program like bootmagic then it will work for sure (I have done that, even with C as NTFS )

Not exactly...

Just install winME now. You have 2k on it, it'll still dual boot. If you want to change default/loading time edit the boot.ini file.

I need more expert opinions... i have heard that certain versions of windows like c:/. but i am not sure if winME is one of them. also microsoft says:
"You must install Windows 2000 only after installing MS-DOS or Windows 95 to prevent MS-DOS or Windows 95 from overwriting the Windows 2000 boot sector and the Windows 2000 startup files. "
and i am not sure whether that includes Windows ME.
