dual booting win2k and me problems

I installed windows me and then attempted to install windows 2000 pro it always goes until I get a stop screen with the error inaccessabe_boot_device. I am using an
800 athlon thunderbird
abit kt7 raid
256 133 ram
pioneer dvd rom
iomege zipcd rw
ati 64ddr radeon


any help would be appreciated
 
IF you are installing on the RAID controller it may be possible that Win2k does not have the drivers to use the RAID controller, causing a STOP error. Not sure if this happens with the KT7 RAID, but I know it happens with similar setups like the A7V and its Promise ATA100 controller.

To get around this, get the drivers for the RAID controller on a disk and then when installing, press F6 when prompted to install the third party drivers. Good luck.
