Dual-Booting Vista and W7

Was thinking of Dual Booting W7 with Vista. I tried W7 on a spare drive but not much to do with it on an empty drive. Question is, is uninstalling W7 as simple as formattingthe partition (will be on a spare drive) and changing the startup options? Or is there a specific way to uninstall a dual boot setup (I have never dual booted before).

So if I just use a spare drive for the W7 partition, it should be as simple as formatting that partition and editing the boot list correct (deleting the W7 entry)?

with windows vista, you have to use the bcd(Boot Configuration Data) to remove the windows 7 from the startup choice. it kinda complicated to use.. I know someone made a GUI program to edit vista BCD. I can't remember who made it or what the name of it is. But it much easier to use.
