Dual boot

Well I had Win XP in dual boot with Vista. Both OS were on different HDDs, not with partition in one..
Today I formatted WinXP and as a logical consequence the dual boot was lost. I tried to boot through the other HDD that has Vista in it ,so that I could change the boot.ini and it can't boot. So my question is how can I restore the dual boot and make boot sequence see Vista once again?
Thnx in advance

Take out the HD that had XP on it, leave the Vista one in. Boot up with that.

Or just set the boot order in the BIOS to check the vista drive first.
