well, here it goes.

i have one computer and i want to dual boot win2k pro and linux. the reason is, i've been using windows for a while and want to learn linux without having to buy a 2nd comp. i've looked online at various resources but can't seem to find consistent methods of doing this. sounds like i can run into complications if i don't do this exactly right.

also, i have a 17 gig hd and don't know how much hd space i should give to linux. right now, i'm ready to format my hd and have everything backed up. just need a walk-thru or manual.

any help on this matter would be much appreciated. links or other documentation would be awesome. i'm sure many ppl have gone thru this already, so i'm hoping this won't be impossible for me.

thx in advance! :)

try reformatting your hard drive and creating a partition, using one partition for win2k and linux in the other, I am running turbo linux 6.0 and windows 2k set up like that with no problems.
