dual boot with vista and xp

right now my computer has windows xp pro on it and if i want dual boot with vista ulimate and test drive and decide to uninstall vista do i need to re install xp over again?
 
as long as vista is on a sep parti. which is obviously gonna hap, you will be wiping vista on that partic. parti. and your boot will revert back to it's only opera. sys. which is xp pro
