Dual boot/Win2K install "stop error" after re-boot with SCSI hdd?

I'm running a T-Bird 1 ghz cpu (at default speed for install), Abit KT7-RAID mobo, 256mb PC-133 ram, Cheetah X-15 SCSI HDD with Tekram DC-390U3 controller (which might be why I'm seeing this?).
After I opt for a "clean install" which allows to install Win2K on one partition (not an upgrade), it re-boots and the Win2K setup detects hardware BUT before that it has an option to hit F6 for changing SCSI or RAID drivers for Win2K (which I assume I need to do here?)

So far I've not pressed the F6 key and after checking hardware, it gives me a "stop error" (several #s) and says that if I see that screen again after trying another re-boot (yes) that I should check for viruses (none), remove any newly installed hdds or hdd controllers (none), check your hdd to make sure it's properly configured and terminated (works in Win98 so it obviously is), run chkdsk /F to check for hdd corruption (havent done as I highly doubt it).
I'm guessing that I'm seeing this due to something with either the mobos RAID controller (although I'm not now using RAID) or something with the SCSI controllers drivers (maybe)?
Anyone here running an SCSI HDD and Win2K ever run into this? Ideas?
It still selects and boots/runs Win98SE just fine, just doesn't want to setup Win2K as is yet.

At the start of setup, it says "Press F6 to load scsi drivers", you need to press that, and then later on, it will ask you for a floppy disk with the drivers.
