Dual boot win 10 and win 7 Question

I did the free upgrade to win10 and I am fine with it but I was attempting to take some military training classes and they will not run without glitching in anything but Internet Explorer or smoothly (according to the help desk) unless in win7 or vista (yuck). Anyways, I am past my 1 month revert phase so I am wondering if I can just partition my HD and do a fresh install of win 7 on the other partition or how I go about installing win7 so that I can have the option when I need to do these pesky military courses. Thank you for your help.
