Dual Boot Vista & XP

I installed XP first and created two partitions inside XP installer. After i installed XP i installed Windows Vista Home Premium on the second partition. I used this tutorial somewhat http://apcmag.com/how_to_dualb...e_with_screenshots.htm
After using EasyBCD i tried to boot into XP but still got a boot error. I get an error saying "missing or corupt /ntldr". Any suggestions?

I found a solution and copied NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM in my WinXP root folder. In vista i just copied it from the cd to the WinXP partition. When i tried to boot XP i got an error saying reinstal "hal.dll" file because its corrupt or missing. I downloaded the dll from dll-files.com and replaced it and rebooted and still same error? :S

it looks like a more straightforward method to do the same thing as your linked page.
