Dual boot two different language versions of Win2K?

Hi,
Is it possible to dual boot two language version of Win2K?
If I install English Win2K on C: and then
install another language of Win2K on D:,
feasible or not?

TIA

While it is possible, why don't you see if you can get your hands on the MUI for Win2K?

The Multi-language User Interface pack allows you to use a single installation of Win2K, and switch between language interfaces, say English Win2K with the Chinese MUI allows you to select Chinese or English for the interface.

If you merely want to read and edit documents, Win2K already has native support for most languages, and does not need a full installation of the OS in another language. Go to Regional Options in the Control Panel, and activate the languages you want. You may be prompted for the Win2K CDROM.

For full document editing support though, you can try to get a hold of the Office 2000 MLP MultiLanguage Pack, which would probably be better, depending on what you want to do.

I did try the MUI pack. However, it has its limit.

For example, a English Win2K with Chinese interface doesn't equal to Chinese Win2K.
This combation can not be used to play games; there would be display problem. 😉

I will try to experiment see how it goes.

Thank you.

Oh...you want to play games huh?

I think you would be better off dual booting Chinese Win98SE and English Win2K. I've seen a lot of Chinese games that don't like Win2K too much.

If you want to dual boot between Win9x and Win2K, install Win9x first on one partition, then Win2K on another partition. Win2K will automatically create a boot menu for you to select which OS you wish to use.
