dual boot, printer need twice insatlled?

Dual booting XP and 7. New printer isuccessfully nstalled on XP. Will I also ned to do a separate install in W7?
 
Dual boot is essentially two separate computers in one box. Each OS requires installation of peripherals as well as programs.
