dual boot os: xp and xp

I started to install a fresh copy of windows xp and format the primary HD, but then what happened was xp was installed to my slave drive (which is not what i wanted). So, I used an NTFS boot up disk and wiped everything on my primary drive to 0 then I installed a new copy of windows on the E: drive (primary-- i know, my pathing is all wrong, but i live with it). Now that i have a completely new copy on the primary drive, i just want to wipe the xp on the slave drive away without losing the data and not the extra xp start up.

help is appreciated.

thanks.

Delete Windows on the secondary drive and edit the boot.ini file on the primary drive to eliminate the multi-boot option at startup.
