dual boot on same partition?

is it ok for me to install win2k pro on the same partition as my winme? i only have a 60gxp 40gig hdd and 2 partitions on it. 1 5gig and the other 35 gigs. i really dont want to partition it again because my 35 gig is full of stuff. so i was wondering if there would be any problems installing 2 OS's on the same partition?

I have done it for a short while before and everything worked fine. I don't know how it would work for the long haul though.

I would advise against it since I ran into problems dual booting Windows Me and XP on the same partition. I had problems with IE, Office 2000, media player, and any other program that uses commmon components. To keep peace of mind I'd recommend making a larger partition and installing 2k on that.
