here is the short version:
I had a dual boot -WinMe & Win2K on 2 HDD. The 2K was on an old 1.6 gb HDD(Evaluation copy). The main drive, a 45gig GXP75 needed to be RMA'ed so I bought another drive and used Ghost to copy everything onto the new drive. I plan on upgrading soon and will go wth Raid0. While taking out the GXP75 to ship it off, I also took out the Win2k HDD and left it out. Well, here is the problem:
I installed the new 23.12 Det4 driver last night and it totally hosed my system. It would boot to the password screen and as soon as the SBLive driver kicked in, BSOD. Well, no big deal, just reboot into safe mode and unistall it right? Well here it is- It only will boot into Win2K safe mode. It that Normal? Is there a way to boot WinMe into safe mode on a dual boot setup? I had to put the Win2K HDD back in and remove driver one file at a time from WinMe system folder. Took me till 1:00am to get this up and running!
