Dual boot Linux, Win ME, Win 2000

Ok I need some help with how to set up this dual/tri boot.... I have read all the thread regarding dual boots, please don't refer me to them again....

I am buying a new 40 gig drive that I intend to cut up into 4 10 gig sections...

I want to be abot to boot Win ME, Win 2000, and Linux (Mandrake 8.1).

It is my understanding that I should do the following:
first, install Win Me, tweak it, get it running as I would like it to be.

second, install win 2000 on d: by putting the 2000 disk into the cd drive and telling it to do a fresh install on d:, tweak it, set it up all nice.
(This will get me the windows dual boot manager that will prompt me on start up to choose an OS as discussed in the anandtech FAQ's?)

third, install linux mandrake 8.1 on e:, (including subpartitioning that drive into /root, /swap, etc.) and make a boot disk with lilo so that I can boot linux?

is there some way to add linux to the boot manager list?

would grub do this? if not what will grub do?

is this how I should do this?

can I do this without loading win 2000?

What is the value of putting ME on your machine? Why dont you set it on fire? In all seriousness, dont bother with that rubbish, put 2k and Drake on.

during the mandrake lilo setup portion of the install it will detect your windows partitions and you will be able to use the lilo boot manager for all of them.
