Dual boot, ignores BIOS boot order?

I am trying to format a Dell 8100 here at work, it has dual boot WinXP and 2000 running with no probs except that when I try to boot to floppy or CD it runs right past it and goes to OS selection.

Anyone have an idea how to make it behave (yes, I tried all options in BIOS) so I can wipe this sucker clean?

Thanks

Did you hit F12 for the one-time boot options? If nothing else you can hit it everytime you want to boot from cd/floppy

I always use F8, works for me. Still it wouldn't do good unless there's an option to go into dos. You need to get into dos somehow either by boot disk or whatever but you need to. Try disabling dual boot in the software. Whichever program you used to enable it, disable it. YOU NEED DOS!! *&%$() Microsoft had to do away with it in 2k and XP but you still need it as a diagnostic tool. Damn... Try disabling that dual boot in software, if all else fails you can always format from another computer and stick the hard drive back in when you're done. Run it as a slave and you can even do it in windows if thats the case.
