dual boot fubared, need advice

I have a system that I originally installed Server 2003 on a few years ago. Last year, I installed Vista 64 on another partition (striped RAID array if that's relevant). This dual boot worked fine up untill last week...

I had run out of room on my Vista partition, so I shrank my Server partition, slid my Vista partition "to the left", then extended my Vista partition into the remaining unallocated space.

No real surprise, initially my system would not boot since I had moved the Vista partition. I inserted my Vista DVD and repaired the BCD. Now my system would boot to Vista, but it did not even show the option of selecting Server 2003. My Computer and Disk Management both show the Server 2003 partition as drive "E", and I can access all the data on that partition, I just can't boot to it.

Any suggestions? I really need to be able to run some programs from that partition.

There's a boot.ini file in the root of the primary partition that controls the dual boot menu. At least that's how it worked with XP. Not sure about Server 2003 or Vista.

Anyway there's specific syntax in the file that shows up in that dual boot menu that lets you select which partition to boot from. The boot.ini contains the info on how to mount the partition and boot to it. My guess is your second OS entry in the boot.ini got wiped out and you just need to restore it so you have the option to boot into the second OS.
