Dual boot FreeBSD and Win XP

I currently have an 80gb hard drive with XP on it.
I plan on installing a 40g hard drive solely for FreeBSD.
How can I make sure FreeBSD is able to boot upon rebooting?
Where should the bootloader be installed? MBR?
