Dual Boot/Disk Partitioning question

RU482

Lifer
I got a laptop from work. The thing I don't like is that even when I am connected to my home network, I still have to enter a password to reach the internet.

I'm sure some of you IT people are cringing now.

Anyway, is it possible to partition a hard drive that already has windows installed on it?
Then, I would install a new copy of windows on the new partition. When I'm at home, I would boot to the new partition, when I'm at work, I'd boot to their version.

Ethics and rules aside, is this possible and if so, what software would be involved?

Thanks!!

Yes it is possible and easy.

Just use a partitioning app like Acronis (my favourite) to create the 2nd partition and install whatever OS you prefer.
