I just installed Windows/286 on a slave HD in my '98 machine. Reversi rocks! About the only thing you can do with it.
 
Makes me want to install windows 3.1 on my Celeron 1466

Windows for the 286. It does exist. Never used it myself tho.
 
i found a compaq presario 5288 computer today near my apartment. it has windows 95, 8mb ram 😀
