Dual boot: Any partitions of any drives OK?

I figure one of my OSs has to go in the Primary Master C: partition. I figure to have each OS of up to 4 OSs in its own partition (98SE in the C:, NT4, W2k, possibly XP someday). Can I have my others in any partition of any of my HDs?
