Dual boot advice

I'm looking on advice for the best/easiest way to convert my existing Win2K box to dual boot to Win98SE.

The box as it sits runs Win2K. It has two SCSI drives. I wish to add an IDE drive and install Win98SE on it.

I know that the easy way would be to unplug the SCSI drives and install Win98 on the IDE, then use the BIOS to choose which drive from which to boot. But, this will surely result in drive letter hell at best, and the inability to see the other operating system's partition at worst.

I've been through all the Microsoft Q articles and a bunch of Web pages, and now I'm wondering if anybody here has done something like this.

Thanks.
