dual athlons at different speeds?

quick check on my facts: you can run a dual athlon system with cpus of different speeds right?

would that work? would that be a waste of time?

I'm not 100% sure but i think they have to have the same multiplier, and both run on the same bus so therefore i'd say that they have to be the same speed.

It can be done. People did it in a test (not sure if anand or someon else).,

However, its not the best idea even if it does work. If you have the 2 CPUs tho, give it a shot. If it doesnt work, buy 1 more CPU.
