dual athlon xp?

Is it possible to run a dual athlon xp on an MSI K7D Master L? I found some information (forget which site) that showed how to enable multiprocessing on an XP. Specifically, I want to get the 1600. Will I need to do this process (reattaching one bridge)? Will it run stable? Or should I spend twice the money and get two athlon mp 1600's?
