I built my dual athlon MP dream system today (with the Tyan motherboard, 512 meg of micron pc2100 memory, seagate cheatah X15 drive, gainward geforce 3..) and it works excellent with the exception of one major problem. The processors are only running at 1066mhz rather than 1,200 mhz? I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on? There are no jumpers on the motherboard (that I am aware of) for setting the CPU clock speed, only jumpers for system bus (which I have set to 266). There are no CPU options in the BIOS either. I am at a total loss as to why they are running slower than they are rated for? I looked in 3dmark2001, and it detected them as palamino processors running at 1.05ghz, with a max clock of 1.17ghz. So they are the right 1200mhz parts (i think), but they just are not running at the right speed. Does anybody here know what I can do to solve this problem? Thanks,
-Mike

What happens if you set the bus speed to 100???

Try to cut/close the bridges... I think they describe this somewhere on tomshardware.com... do a search there.
