No and there is little to no performance gain from 8X agp. Some of the Dual Athlon A boards do have AGP pro though.

thx.. my k7d master has agp pro but I dont game on it anyway, but building a new rig for a cousin to do 3d rendering on dual amd platforrm

Serious 3d rendering or just basic 3d rendering?

Their are several very good cards out there for his application.

You might consider a 3DLabs Wildcat 4 or VP. Or maybe a Quadro.

Dual Athlon (32-bit) platform has no more than 4x, but many boards have AGPpro slots for power hungry performance 3D cards.

Dual Athlon (64-bit) platform does have chipsets with 8x AGP, including AMD's own AGP tunnel chip as found on proper workstation boards like Tyan K8W (2885).
