Somebody wants me to build them one of these, yipeee! and guess what, watercooling!! double yipeeee.

Ok so has anyyyyyone built a dual 2400+ mp system? Im lookin at the Asustek 266-d mobo, it seems to be the best bet for now, but I would reallllllly like to get a mobo that supports the 24 out of the box.

Many folks over at forums.2cpu.com like the Iwill board. Personally, I don't think my Tyan Tiger MPX-4M is that bad (1600+ chips). Onboard LAN but should be adequate, unless you want G-bit speeds. Plus, I've got 4 33MHz/32-bit PCI slots. My only gripe is that booting from CD is less than perfect (only NT-based OSes seem to boot from CD) and I really want to get by without a floppy drive in this system.

I've currently got dualhead GF2MX AGP, Santa Cruz, Promise IDE via 64-bit/66MHz slot, and added an old STB PVI TV tuner/capture card over the weekend. I think I'm up to six OSes, until some of these other folks get their acts together.

Tyan still hasn't fixed that CD boot issue?

I liked that board, but I was one of the early adopters and got burned with the BIOS ROM overlap issue.

I do like the MPX2. By far the most stable platform I've used.

Cheers!
